Responsibilities:
- Creating electrical drawings for new projects, updating existing drawings as needed, and communicating with clients about changes.
- Creating electrical schematics and diagrams using EPLAN and Engineering Base.
- Preparing estimates of material costs and labor hours for projects.
- Designing electrical control panels, switches, circuit breakers, fuses, junction boxes, transformers, light fixtures, outlets, and wiring systems.
- Developing electrical layouts based on the client’s specifications
- Performing calculations to determine voltage drop across conductors, transformer capacities, and amperage draw from electrical devices.
Qualifications:
- Fundamental knowledge in automation systems/manufacturing.
- Fundamental knowledge in electrical design/industrial circuit design.
- Willingness to travel worldwide if necessary for projects (USA, Mexico, Canada, Brazil) and extensive training at STIWA Group headquarters (Austria).
- Ability to train clients and ensure highest level of customer service
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work in teams.
- Willingness to take on responsibility.
- Required BS Electrical Engineering, or related field of study from ABET accredited university.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred 2 - 4 years of experience in electrical design role.
