Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Designer with a strong emphasis on low voltage systems to join our team. In this role, you will work on a variety of projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create electrical designs that meet our clients' needs. Proficiency in Revit is a must, as you will be responsible for integrating low voltage systems into building designs.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Design: Collaborate with engineers and architects to design low voltage electrical systems, including security, data, communication, and audiovisual systems.
2. Revit Proficiency: Utilize Revit to create and develop electrical design models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
3. System Integration: Integrate low voltage systems seamlessly into building designs, considering functionality, aesthetics, and efficiency.
4. Code Compliance: Ensure all low voltage designs meet relevant local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
5. Documentation: Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation for project proposals and construction documents.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to provide technical expertise, address design challenges, and contribute to the successful completion of projects.
7. Quality Assurance: Review and quality-check electrical designs and documentation to maintain high standards and accuracy.
8. Research and Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in low voltage systems to implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical design, with a focus on low voltage systems.
• Proficiency in using Revit for electrical design.
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and high-quality work.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to manage tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to adapt to new technologies and stay informed about industry trends.
• Professional certifications or licenses (e.g., EIT, PE) are a plus.
