Electrical Control Technician

Position: Industrial machine panel builder and wiring.

Position pay range: $28 - $32 an hour based on skill level.

Job Summary:

Position responsible for building Electrical Control panels and wiring industrial machines daily while establishing a safe and efficient work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Layout and wire control panels according to CAD drawings and bill of materials.
• General duties will include assembly of control panels and enclosures, mounting components on panels, wire cutting, stripping, soldering, crimping, & terminating wires.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High School diploma or its equivalent
• Graduate of a technical school with emphasis in electrical work is a plus.
• Ability to work under direct supervision, within broad guidelines of procedures and goals.
• Basic knowledge of electrical theory and shop standards.
• Be able to use tools such as pliers, knives, hacksaws, wire strippers and other small tools.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
• Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain professionalism among co-workers and customers.
• Must be dependable; trustworthy; and possess a positive and productive attitude.
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule that includes extended hours.
