SalaryJob Description:
- Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings in order to assemble quality products
- Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment.
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth work operations
- Monitor inventory level of materials to notify supervisor of stock shortage
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
- Verify specifications by measuring & inspecting completed component
- Resolve electrical problems by addressing issues to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting malfunctions
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other duties as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
