We're more than aviation experts, we're pioneers. We challenge what's possible. From breaking the sound barrier to advanced tiltrotor systems. Today, Bell is shaping the future of aviation through specialized engineering. And we want you.
We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) and the Bell 360 Invictus Future Attack and Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA), part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, Bell's Autonomous Pod Transport (APT), and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold tilt-rotor.
Electrical and Electronic Systems Integration (across multiple levels)
Bring your experience and ideas and help us develop Electrical and Electronic Systems of the future, through integration of sensors, electrical generation, electrical distribution, and autonomy. Optimizing systems for test and evaluation of manned and optionally manned aircraft. You'll work with test pilots and technicians to design and test the next generation of aircraft. This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with customers and subcontractors. You'll be able to hone your technical abilities on significant engineering problems, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication. The Electrical Integration Engineer position is offered at Bell's main campus in Fort Worth, Texas.
What you'll be doing as an Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineer
Take part in the organization, planning, and management of new aircraft systems within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to meet program and customer defined requirements.
Build, interface and test multiple computer systems in a modular architecture to meet MOSA, Safety, Security, Environmental, EMI and performance requirements while working in an Agile framework.
Create data interfaces for Ethernet, serial and various avionics bus protocols and support throughout the entire software development life cycle from requirements definition to product deployment.
Manage Electrical System suppliers via specifications and statements of work. Estimate and manage schedules, budgets and technology to customer standards.
Collaboration with Bell Engineers from other disciplines to include avionics, mission systems, flight controls, propulsion, airframe structures, rotors, fuel, hydraulics and drive systems. Work directly on the aircraft to test and verify that electrical systems meet performance requirements when installed.
