The Plant Environmental Health & Safety Manager is responsible for serving as a resource to provide leadership, direction as well as establish a meaningful Environmental, Health & Safety program through commitment and employee ownership. This position will assist in the development, implementation, and training of environmental, Health & Safety programs throughout the workplace to ensure compliance with WK Kellogg standards and federal and state environmental, Health & Safety regulations.

- Culture Ownership – people safety is our top priority here. You’re responsible for driving the culture that includes health, safety and security through process oversight, compliance and training.
- Influence and planning – you’ll participate in the business planning and process development to support execution of new equipment, technology applications etc. to ensure that related safeguards are incorporated which meet all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Safety Development & Improvement – help our team grow and learn through coaching and training plant workforce on safety and security issues and expectations.
- Driving Metrics – build upon our success as you look to maintain and update policies, procedures and programs that support plant Health & Safety initiatives.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Proven experience leading health and safety projects.
- 3-5 years of EHS related experience in an industrial setting
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental health, occupational health and safety, or a related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Experience with State and Federal environmental, health and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with a wide variety of audiences.
- Exceptional ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams’ organization-wide.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
