Job Description
- Provide end user support in the use of EHR/IT systems and applications used by the Center by performing hands-on or remote fixes for problems with EHR/IT or related software.
- EHR maintenance and monitoring:
- Participate in on-going evolution of EHR and improvements to the Center’s use of the EHR
- Complete administrative functions for employees in the EHR
- Train and promote best practices in the use of EHR for all Center employees.
- Identify needs for refresher trainings, job aids, and/or future enhancements.
- Configure the EHR to collect meaningful data in regards to Federal and State incentive programs, quality measures, and outcomes measures as well as create and maintain data collection, and transmit data.
- Audit EHR to ensure quality and accuracy of data.
- Analyze data to identify deficiencies in the Center’s performance.
- Work with the Quality Assurance Committee to research, test, and implement newly released modules within EHR.
- Accurately maintain IT inventory deployment and documentation.
- Assist with training new employees and interns on the Center’s internal computer systems.
- Provide back up for Systems Administrator and IT Specialist as needed
- Must maintain consumer and employee confidentiality.
- Adhere to all state and federal privacy regulations, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, and all FFYC policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security
- Support compliance with all privacy and security requirements regarding participant confidentiality, including requirements for EHR access.
