Ehr Support Specialist, Ft Days

Job Description
Participates in design and evolution of Electronic Health Record (EHR). Provide oversight of all electronic processes/systems related to EHR systems in HIM and record processing functions. Provide technical and administrative resource support. Create reports, review and correct data integrity issues. Create and update policies/procedures related to EHR design, management and maintenance. Create material and provide on-going training for Physicians, HIM and other Users.
Required Skills

• Ability to utilize EMR.
• Develop/create reports for tracking HIM Metrics.

• Good overall knowledge of Health Information Systems practices, procedures and guidelines.

Required Experience
Work Experience:

• Two (2) years' experience in information systems in a health information management environment.

Education and Training:

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
