We're hiring an Educational Quality Specialist!
The Educational Quality Specialist will primarily be responsible for supporting internal quality efforts, including program and child assessment; supporting, guiding, training curriculum and instructional methods; providing direct support to center based curriculum and program leads/coaches; resource development; and contributing to or managing related projects.
What you will be doing in this role:
- Provide virtual and on-site guidance, training, and coaching to the field regarding quality curriculum implementation.
- Provide virtual and on-site guidance, training, and coaching to the field regarding instructional strategies aligned with curriculum methodology.
- Work directly with program coaches offering orientation to the role; and regular support and training, including scheduled and adhoc needs. Provide feedback to directors and RMs re efficacy.
- Develop and support quality assessment tools and action plans. Integrate external and internal quality expectations.
- Contribute to the development of training materials related to curriculum and instruction.
- Contribute to the development of child assessment tools and resources.
- Monitor and assess child assessment data and curriculum effectiveness.
- Build relationships with operational leaders, offering support, guidance, and resources.
- Provide direct support to centers pursuing or maintain external quality programs, such as accreditation and QRIS.
- Contribute to or lead additional projects, as assigned.
What we hope you will bring to this role:
- Residence in NY
- Bachelor's degree in ECE or closely related field
- Three years' experience in early childhood classrooms; experience with teacher supervision or training
- Prior experience as an early care and education program leader, mentor, or coach AND as a trainer or facilitator
- Must have proven ability with program improvement and coaching
- Quick learner, flexible skillset, ability to manage multiple projects at once, resourceful, and resilient
- Highly skilled communicator, and intermediate level experience and skill with the technology required
- Skilled in MS office
- Excellent organization skills with experience in project management
- Travel flexibility required
The salary for this position is $72,000-$77,000.
