Ecosystem Partner Manager: 3GPP Packet core and RAN technologies, 4G/5G, WiFi protocols and standards
Description
Provides technical expertise through partner presentations, product demonstrations, review of architecture and test framework
Assists the project group in assessing potential application of technologies to meet use case needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the use cases and project group contributions for selected solutions.
May interact with OEM/ODM, System Integrators and SW stack vendor partners often requiring architecture review, technical specifications review, rapid prototyping and/or product demo.
May provide software review and consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
Should have experience on preparing product architecture & schematics, functional/performance KPIs, lab/field validation success criteria, technical marketing materials.
Skills
Wireless fundamentals (Telecom infra architecture, LTE, 3GPP Packet Core Networks(3G/4G/5G) including knowledge of interfaces/protocols used and network elements such as HSS/PCRF/OCS/AAA etc., WiFi protocols and standards, Radio access networks, 5G concepts, virtualization of access and core, NFV/SDN concepts
Wireless system performance analysis (lab/field)Operator/vendor interaction experience
Highly organized, resourceful and action-oriented individual with an ability to drive focus, clarity and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
Ability to write API specifications, test plans, test automation specs
Hands-on - can work with lab leads to run tests, debug basic issues, experience in executing tests against different vendor systems, follow through interoperability and benchmark tests and KPIs, end to end signaling aspects
Technology communication skills - can drive workshops with operator and vendor partners. Enthusiastic, quick learner
Qualification
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, business or related discipline
5+ years of working experience in related field
Preferred Qualifications:
MS/MA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, business or related discipline
7+ years of working experience in related field with 2+ years interfacing with operators/vendor stakeholders
