Ecommerce - Product Manager

Continental Battery is seeking a dynamic Ecommerce Manager to own the day to day efforts related to multiple B2C ecommerce properties. This is a multi-faceted role with a primary focus on ongoing project management, website merchandising and product management, digital marketing efforts, and ongoing website analytics analysis.

In conjunction with the Ecommerce Director, responsibilities include:

• Manage all day to day activities related to multiple ecommerce properties and marketplaces.

• Serve as lead ecommerce project manager, working with developers on ongoing site improvements, new website projects, and website replatforming.

• Work with the external marketing team in order to improve quality of traffic acquisition and optimize ROI/ROAS.

• Manage all merchandising and product management activities including product set up across all websites/marketplaces, visual merchandising, and reporting on product performance.

• Serve as owner of all product data on websites/marketplaces to ensure accuracy including product detail descriptions, specifications, imagery, etc.

• Develop merchandising/content calendar for regular website content updates and email/social campaigns.

• Own all reporting efforts including:

  • Weekly Sales Report

  • Weekly Top Sellers Report (with part# and revenue generated)

  • Weekly Inventory Report

  • Weekly Status reports

  • Monthly Margin Report

  • Monthly Missed Sales Report (as needed)

• Ongoingin depth analysis of Google Analytics to identify and report on sales, attribution, and potential site issues and/or opportunities for sales growth. Ie path to purchase and sales funnel/cart behavior, product and category performance including week over week variances.

• Work directly in Magento to perform category, product, and feature configurations necessary to achieve department goals.

• Make recommendations for site improvements based on analytics analysis.

• Make recommendations for product assortment additions based on competitive/market analysis.

• Identify, implement, and report on A/B testing opportunities.

• Identify and execute on non-paid marketing activities IE promotional emails, social media, etc.

• Attend weekly status meetings prepared with DETAILED review, analysis, and insights into sales performance.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role

• In depth knowledge of and experience working with ecommerce marketplaces including Amazon and Ebay

• Excellent analytical skills with a commercial drive

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent organizational and project management skills essential

• Experience working on ecommerce CMS platforms. Magento experience a strong plus.

• Knowledge of digital marketing channels including SEO, PPC, Display, Retargeting, Social, etc.

• Strong attention to detail
