The eCommerce Marketing Manager will drive marketing strategy and platform activation across eCommerce customers. This individual will be responsible for coordinating major programs with our brand teams, executing national brand marketing programs, as well as owning retail media campaigns, on-platform content, and search optimization, and managing our agency partners.

  • Own, develop and manage best-in-class eCommerce marketing activation strategy across eCommerce retailers to help meet sales objectives
  • Work with content manager to implement content improvements on all managed retailers: Syndication, New Items, Basic content, SEO optimized content, Enhanced Content, Brand Stores
  • Translate brand priorities from briefings and build omnichannel marketing plans leveraging their e-commerce retailers to meet sales targets
  • Drive search and retail media performance, optimization review, and lead contact for external e-com agency
  • Lead major activation programs with select pure play customers: Amazon, GoPuff, Instacart, DoorDash, Getir, Etc.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to build in-depth knowledge of business objectives and product mix to identify and develop growth opportunities at brand, category, and portfolio level
  • Coordination with shopper and customer marketing teams to execute & enhance their national programs
  • Coordination with the various eCommerce account teams on account-specific programming
  • Provide regular reporting and status updates to key stakeholders
  • Agency management
  • Own and manage their eCommerce marketing budget
  • Develop and maintain a professional knowledge of new or emerging trends
  • Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Understands and demonstrates the Company's core values
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Skills that will make you successful

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and media especially retail media networks with Amazon, GoPuff, Instacart, DoorDash, Citrus, Criteo, etc.
  • Strong analytical background to support a test and learn approach while continually evolving and optimizing campaigns
  • Experience running paid search and performance focused digital marketing campaigns
  • A track record of successfully collaborating with other functional
  • Strong ownership for results and how those results are achieved for self and team
  • Must be detail oriented with a bias towards action (self-starter) and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Ability to work within a team as well as independently with limited supervision
  • A desire to continually learn and challenge the status quo
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Customer focused with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Some travel required
Experiences that will support your success
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years' experience in CPG eCommerce marketing or eCommerce preferred
  • Worked on Amazon.com advertising and within vendor central
  • Skilled project manager with experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL and Excel, including Macros, V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
