WHAT WE NEED:

We are hiring a Manager, eCommerce & Digital Services responsible for our Shopify eCommerce Platform that supports our Direct to Consumer business to join our team.  This role will focus on improving the visibility, performance, and conversion rates of our Direct-to-Consumer eCommerce Platforms. 

This is a remote position.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Shopify eCommerce Platforms:

• Advise, build, and support the development & implementation of customized commerce experiences for B2C clients.
• Collaborate with business partners and internal teams to gather requirements and design and maintain custom features and functionalities that meet business objectives.
• Drive the technical implementation of stores and ecommerce-related projects whether through custom code, settings & configuration, or 3rd-party applications.
• Stay current on BigCommerce and Shopify API changes and properly utilize them in your work.
• Enhance and implement Shopify-based websites, themes, and applications using HTML, CSS, Liquid, and other relevant technologies.
• Optimize website performance including page load speed, responsiveness, and user experience by implementing best practices and performance optimization techniques.
• Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure functionality, compatibility, and responsiveness across different devices and browsers.

Google Analytics:  

• Implement and maintain tags using tools like Google Tag Manager to ensure accurate data capture.
• Regularly audit and validate data to ensure accuracy.  Resolve any tracking or data integrity issues promptly.
• Work closely with UX/UI, SEO, and marketing teams to optimize website performance and improve user experience based on data insights.
• Collaborate with teams to design and analyze A/B or multivariate tests to improve website effectiveness.
• Ensure that data collection and processing practices comply with privacy regulations such as GDPR, other.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Marketing, Business, or 8 years of experience in IT
• 3-5+ years of experience developing with Shopify and Shopify Plus (REQUIRED).
• 5+ years working with digital marketing teams to drive valuable insights regarding marketing campaign performance.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and Liquid
• Solid understanding of modern eCommerce SEO and web analytics
