The Headlines:
As the B2C eCommerce Associate Marketing Manager, you’ll be based in Chicago, IL and will be part of the eCommerce team within the Americas Commercial Accelerator team.
You will be accountable for ensuring our iconic brands come to life on the digital shelf in a way that drives eCommerce channel growth. You will manage end-to-end product detail page development, measurement and optimization as well as act as the eCom subject matter expert influencing omnichannel activation in brand and eCom customer plans.
This position reports to the Sr. Marketing Manager of eCommerce and works very closely with Brand, Shopper and the Enterprise Content Management team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop SEO optimized product detail page content and strategies
- Oversee syndication to retailers’ websites; monitor accuracy and drive remediation
- Proactively monitor the digital shelf and evaluate the competitive landscape to identify opportunities to optimize
- Ensure development and delivery of content is completed within schedule and budget
- Partner with brand teams in upfront planning and brief writing to ensure brand assets and programs are scalable across the eCommerce channel
- Assist eCommerce Customer Marketing managers in briefing and development of 3P and Pure Play digital assets
- Effectively socialize digital content with eCom marketing and sales teams
- Build strong working relationships with agencies to ensure quality work is completed
- Develop and socialize eCom best practices with cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or other related field OR equivalent experience (3+ years) in marketing/eCom with high profile CPG brands
- Proficient in SEO & digital shelf creation and measurement
- Experience briefing creative agencies and evaluating 360 creative concepts and campaigns
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. Multitasking, adaptability strong project management and prioritization skills are a must.
- Ability to leverage data to identify business issues/opportunities and translate into the “what’s”, “why’s” and “what to do’s”
- Possess excellent communication and influence skills
- You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help others grow
