Description

The Cardiac Sonographer obtains diagnostic quality echocardiograms as prescribed by the physician. He/she specializes in echo-cardiology (non-invasive tests). This position will rotate with in the clinic's and assist with services at the hospital. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of Providence Health & Services.

SHIFT: No weekends, NO Nights, No Holidays. this position is four,, 10 hour shifts per week rotating Mon-Fri each week.

Required qualifications:

+ Associate's Degree Science, specializing in echocardiography Or

+ Applicable training and experience in performance of Echocardiograms and vascular procedures.

+ Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or

+ Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International

+ Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

+ Experience in a clinical setting, preferably cardiology.

Preferred qualifications:

+ Experience in comparable position.

+ Experience in Stress Echo Imaging

+ Experience in Vascular Ultrasound

About the Team

Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care. Collectively, our medical groups and affiliate practices are the third largest group in the country with over 11,000 providers, 900 clinics and 30,000 caregivers.
