Location
At Hopedale Cardiovascular Associates our focus is to provide compassionate care to our patients and their families in a community setting, while utilizing the latest technology in diagnostic testing and treatment strategies. We specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and management of cardiovascular disease. Our cardiologists are all board certified with over 90 years of combined experience. We offer a wide array of services to care for even the most complicated patients.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Per Diem Echo Tech to perform echocardiogram testing during evening shifts between 3:00pm and 7:00pm but we can work around candidate availability when assigning shifts!
This role is a unique opportunity to work autonomously as an Echo Tech!
There is availability to pick up other shifts due to time off, vacations, leave of absences, staffing shortages, etc.
Responsibilities
- Aims for high quality imaging by accurately positioning transducer, monitoring display while listening to signals and adjusting beam strength and focus as needed
- Detecting artifact that mimic abnormalities and recording images
- Produces measurements of heart wall, chamber size and blood flow direction and velocity and compares measurements to establish norms
- Maintains ultrasound equipment and sterilizes the room in which the procedure takes place
- Monitors ultrasound supplies and replenishes stock as needed.
- Prepares preliminary reports in Study Cast
- Uploads finalized echo report to patient chart in Epic
- Submits billing information
Qualifications
- Associates or bachelors degree in sonography
- Ultrasound Technician Certification through a Professional Organization
