Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Obstetric Ultrasound Sonographer. In this role, you will be assisting via ultrasound scanning to acquire data to support Client app development in the field of Obstetric Ultrasound imaging. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing provided equipment, documenting medical history, and acquiring high-quality ultrasound images, which we will provide a short training to become familiar with Philips research study protocols.
Responsibilities:
· Work collaboratively with data scientists and engineers from Philips to test performance of Client prototypes.
· Prepare necessary equipment before appointments begin.
· Document medical history and demographic data from participants.
· Understand research study requirements and explain the study process to participants.
· Willingness to learn research study terminology and protocol.
· Complete training provided by Philips required to comply by regulatory bodies (Internal & External).
· Acquire high-quality Obstetric Ultrasound images according to research study protocols per Philips provided training.
· Identify potential abnormalities detected with the images and follow up with necessary process per Philips policy.
· Provide a summary of findings and complete all necessary paperwork and data entry related to the research study.
· Optimally also include: Execute clinical review and evaluation of Obstetrics examination in accordance with the clinical evaluation regulatory standards and protocols
· Schedule:
· Availability of a minimum of 24 hours per week with the potential up to 40 hours per week.
· The schedule for this position is flexible, with no weekends and holidays required.
Requirements:
· ARDMS Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Ob/Gyn)
· MFM experience is preferred.
· 1-2+ years of clinical experience in Obstetric Ultrasound imaging and workflows.
· Excellent communication skills within a team environment and self-motivated to plan and execute tasks.
· Willingness and familiarity with research protocols and environments a plus.
