Responsible for the design, development, and delivery of standardized training modules in various formats to the Early Childcare Workforce. Utilizes instructional design methodologies, learning strategies and technology to support the development of content, training materials, training modules, and teaching aids. Works effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the College to include community partners and other training agencies. This is a grant funded position. Continued employment is dependent upon grant funding.
Base Pay: $51,197.00. Offer amount based on College's Salary Schedule guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Facilitates trainings and provides a learning environment that fosters effective adult learning opportunities.
- Plans, develops, and designs innovative and engaging course content, materials, handouts, PowerPoint, and assessments for face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses.
- Monitors instructional delivery best practices and learner assessments. Adjusts techniques or recommends changes when appropriate to ensure delivered skills are meeting learner's needs and desired performance outcomes.
- Collaborates with peers on the development, design, and quality assurance of course content.
- Researches and analyzes current trends in training and market segments in relation to professional development needs
- Acts as a College liaison for programs and services with outside agencies or community leaders.
- Plans, directs, and controls the work of people who do not report directly to you, but who provide support to the goals and objectives of your organization.
- Collects data needed to perform planning and programming activities through methods including field surveys, interview, and records research. Supports the Institute's Micro-Credentialing Program.
- Utilizes effective online educational tools for instruction, coaching, and meetings.
- Assumes responsibilities of lead worker in absence of the department manager. Assists with technical guidance and training.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field of study
- Four years of related experience
Knowledge of:
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications
Skilled in:
- Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
- Excellent fact finding and analytical skills and strong proficiency in use of applications to extract data and prepare meaningful analyses
- Promoting cooperative behavior and team efforts
- Creative thinking and problem solving to explore new technology, processes, and approaches
Ability to:
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations, and take responsibility for a high level of service
- Organize and prioritize multiple, competing priorities to maximize personal and team effectiveness
Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:
