Early Head Start - Partnership Services Coordinator (Manager)
100% Onsite - Los Angeles CA 90056
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a Head Start/Early Head StartPartnership Services Coordinator who will be responsible for assisting the program administration with developing management systems that support partners with the overall program compliance. The position will conduct outreach, vet and monitor provider agreements, and will assume an active role in project monitoring potentially working on several projects concurrently.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Related Field from an accredited college or university or minimum three (3) years of relevant work experience in human services/social services or child development may be substituted for college level education
- A minimum of three (3) years in administration, business leadership, and program design and management. Minimum 1 year of supervisorial experience, preferred. Skilled in communicating orally and in writing with business, education and community leaders; skilled in financial and other statistical analysis; skilled in program building, operations, data analysis, funding, and maintenance. Experience with working in government-funded programs is desirable.
- Knowledge of Child Care Licensing Regulations, Head Start Performance Standards, and best practices related to: operations, compliance, contract management, facilities, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of overall program planning and practices in early childhood development in various areas of application
- Knowledge of general business practices such as supervisory practices, administrative basics, general financials, and risk management.
- Knowledge of local resources, services, and networks
- Ability to understand and implement Head Start Performance Standards, Child Care Licensing Regulations, and agency policies and procedures
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Publisher, Word, Excel and Outlook).
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess a valid California driver's license, have use of a motor vehicle, and provide evidence of automobile liability insurance.
- At the time of employment, he/she must meet the state health requirements, pass a physical examination, and provide verification of a TB clearance.
- Must possess and maintain CPR and Basic First Aid certification for the duration of employment with Head Start.
- Fingerprints must be on file with the Justice Department. Official transcripts of educational attainment are required before interview is granted.
- California Law REQUIRES mandated reporters to report known or suspected child abuse. As a licensee or an employee at a licensed facility or a child care institution, YOU are a mandated reporter.
