Job Summary:
As an Early Childhood Teacher's Aide, you will support teachers and school administrators by working with children who may require special instructional or behavioral assistance. Depending on each child's individual needs, you will help them overcome physical, behavioral, or social limitations to succeed in the classroom and meet developmental milestones .
Your students will vary in age from toddlers to pre-kindergarteners, as determined by the classroom or program. You may be assigned a student needing one-on-one support or asked to assist as a classroom aide or shift between classrooms. Your students' challenges may range from mild to moderate to severe.
As you accompany your students throughout the day, your responsibilities may range from helping with classwork to promoting the development of basic hygiene and self-care skills . You will use your understanding of toddler care and behavior management techniques to help maintain a clean and organized childcare environment.

Qualifications
Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-5 ECE units

Experience

• 1+ year of prior childhood development experience in a daycare, preschool, childcare development center, or similar facility is preferred
