Duties
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational goals
- Provide instruction to students in various subjects, including math, language arts, science, and social studies
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other forms of evaluation
- Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement educational programs
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a preschool, daycare, or classroom setting
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Education principles and practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional techniques
- Strong classroom management skills to create an organized and productive learning environment
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students, including those with special education requirements
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
-Enrollment in the ApprenticeshipNC program and completion of apprenticeship requirments.
