- Collaborates with the Talent Acquisition team, and hiring managers, to drive the full-cycle recruitment process for Early Career and student hires (interns, co-ops, full-time entry-level positions) across the company. This includes sourcing resumes, setting interviews, participating in interviews, and extending offers.
- Coordinate job postings with target schools and working with current SSOE staff to leverage alumni networks to fill open positions.
- Partners effectively with Business Leaders, Talent Management, and DEI to gain a detailed understanding of organizational goals and needs.
- Coordinates and facilitates engagement in campus relations initiatives and programs on campus in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinates STEMM outreach and apprentice programs with targeted K-12 schools, and community organizations, local to SSOE offices.
- Serves as primary point of contact for job high school shadow requests and works with business to coordinate logistics and programming.
- Supports the development of campus recruiting strategies at target universities; researches recruiting events, student associations, resume books and other diversity & outreach opportunities.
- Partners with Talent Management and Talent Acquisition teams to build long-term relationships at target universities to maintain a pipeline of exceptional talent for internships/co-ops and entry-level opportunities.
- Identify and participate in governmental programs at the Local, State and Federal level that promote co-op and internship programs.
- Coordinate and partner with Learning & Development for Early Career study groups that foster professional milestones such as FE or EIT certificates.
- Represents SSOE on campus at recruiting events including career fairs, information sessions, interview days and networking events.
- Recruits internal professionals to represent SSOE on campus; provides training and coaching for those involved in campus recruiting activities.
- Leverages established processes and designated technology platforms, leads hiring managers in conducting interviews on-campus, on-site and/or virtually.
- Partners with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Marketing/Communications teams to optimize marketing materials, recruiting campaigns and company branding.
- Assists Director, Talent Acquisition in development of campus/Early Career annual budget.
- Actively participates in the planning and implementation of internship/co-op program, including orientation and professional development activities designed to expose hires to SSOE culture, business, and industry.
- Serves as primary point of contact for interns/co-ops and supervisors to support stakeholder experience and to facilitate the performance accountability process.
- Travel will be required of this role and during the on-campus recruiting season (September-October and mid-January to early March) can be up to 80% of the business week.
- Ability to work hours necessary during busy times of the year.
- Bachelor’s degree required with preference for a major in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Marketing or Communications, or Professional Sales.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in managing campus recruitment programs preferred.
- Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically with Word, PowerPoint and Excel, experience with applicant tracking systems preferred.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication/presentation skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, customer centric environment.
- Salary Range: $65,000- $75,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
