Farrow and Ball – E-commerce Executive (40 hours per week)

We are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our Marketing team on the East Coast of America as a E-commerce Executive This position is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. The role will be home based with travel when required.

Farrow & Ball are a luxury British lifestyle brand that prides itself in creating richly pigmented paint and handcrafted wallpaper, using print methods dating back 300 years and the finest quality ingredients.

The unique Farrow & Ball look transforms modern and traditional homes, large and small, inside and out. Established in Dorset in 1946, we have grown over the last 75 years and now proudly have 60 showrooms worldwide with a global network of stockists.

The key to our success is the people behind the paint: from the team handcrafting each tin to showroom staff to support functions, our shared passion ensures customers have a positive, engaging experience at every stage of their journey with us.

As an E-commerce Executive at Farrow & Ball, you will be a key player in driving our online business success in the US. Your responsibilities will span various aspects of our e-commerce operation, including website management, product merchandising, and digital marketing localization. By leveraging Adobe Commerce and Google Analytics, you’ll optimize our US website, enhance the customer experience, and identify growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • E-commerce Growth:
    • Identify and capture new customer bases and business opportunities.
    • Optimize the end-to-end e-commerce journey, from lead generation to conversion and post-purchase follow-up.
  • Website Management and Merchandising:
    • Utilize Adobe Commerce to manage our US website.
    • Ensure accurate product listings, pricing, and inventory management.
    • Implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve product visibility.
  • Content Management and SEO:
    • Manage website content, including product descriptions, images, and blog posts.
    • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility.
    • Monitor keyword rankings and implement on-page SEO best practices.
  • Global Digital Marketing Localization:
    • Adapt the global digital marketing strategy to resonate with US customers.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns, promotions, and content.
    • Optimize digital channels (including paid social media, ppc & programmatic advertising) for the US region.
  • Data-Driven Insights and Optimization:
    • Leverage Google Analytics to analyze sales data, study market trends, and identify conversion rate improvements.
    • Identify media opportunities and optimize digital ad spend.
    • Use data to inform merchandising decisions and enhance customer engagement
  • User Experience (UX) Enhancement:
    • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly website interfaces.
    • Ensure seamless navigation, responsive design, and mobile optimization.
    • Monitor user feedback and address usability issues promptly.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Be the US specialist within the global e-commerce community.
    • Work closely with sales, marketing, customer service, logistics, and product development teams.
    • Address operational issues promptly and proactively.

Key Attributes

  • Experience with Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento) for website management.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools (Google, Meta, Pinterest).
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics for data analysis.
  • Flexible to working hours in collaboration with our UK team.
  • Similar industry experience is desirable.
