THE ROLE: 

Strategies for Change Group is hiring a Chief Operating Officer. In this full-time, Washington, DC based hybrid role, the Chief Operating Officer reports directly to the CEO and will oversee the day-to-day operations of SFCG, specifically focusing on optimizing business processes, managing resources, and efficiently executing the organizations strategies. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

• Provide strategic direction for daily operations and implementation of processes like contract management, company philosophy, and personnel management.  

• Oversee the growth, performance, and operational development of all company personnel. 

• Lead an inclusive and collaborative culture amongst staff, clients, and campaign team members supporting cross-functional productivity.  

• Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring financial stability and cost efficiency within daily operations. 

• Demonstrate a high level of diplomatic proficiency in daily interactions, encompassing written and verbal communication. 

• Create contingency plans to address potential challenges and help to mitigate possible operational risks.  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or relevant field AND/OR 2+ years/cycle of campaign related work experience. 

• Previous experience in Senior or Manager leadership role within organization/company.  

• Experience engaging and working alongside Manager and/or C-Suite level leadership.  

• Knowledge of political landscapes and campaign dynamics. 

• Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
