Overview and Essential Functions

We’re looking for a Dump Truck Driver/Laborer to join our team and help connect America.  The Dump Truck Driver/Laborer will work out of our office in Vancouver, WA and will complete duties related to telecommunications construction assigned under general supervision and be responsible for driving and transporting various construction materials to and from the job site along with various general labor duties.

 

Pay: $22 - $26 per hour

 

What you’ll do:

  • Safely transport equipment and materials to various job-sites throughout the surrounding areas.
  • Loading, unloading, and securing all cargo in accordance with DOT and company standards
  • Perform various laboring duties to assist with work completion as needed
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Clean vehicles, trailers, tools and equipment

Qualifications

Who we are looking for:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are authorized to work in the United States for this company
  • You have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • You have basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner
  • You are courteous and polite with customers and homeowners
  • You strive to meet productivity standards by completing work in a timely manner; Strives to increase productivity.
  • You demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality.
  • You follow all safety guidelines.  Is alert and aware of surroundings and working hazards.  Wears hardhat, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves, approved safety footwear, and seatbelt.

Physical Demands:

  • Climb up and down ladders, machinery, and other objects
  • Push, pull, reach, and frequently carry objects such as tools, materials and equipment weighing up to 80lbs
  • Load and unload tools and equipment on truck
  • Coordinate movement of eyes, hands, fingers, and feet
  • Work at different heights
  • All work is outdoors and subject to inclement weather conditions.
