Job Description
- Must be able to operate trucks in residential, commercial, DTG recycling yards and on construction sites as well as public roadways including highways and interstates.
- Perform pre-trips and post-trip inspections.
- Communicate with the dispatcher throughout the day.
- Log/track loads in our system with provided tablets.
- Transporting materials to and from specified locations.
- Verifying the types of materials being transported and ensuring that they do not exceed weight restrictions.
- Ensuring that the materials are loaded correctly onto the Dump Truck.
- Keep accurate records and slips of loads each day.
- Take appropriate safety precautions while driving.
- Cleaning potential road hazards such as, debris, rocks, mud, dirt, sand, gravel, plastic, roofing etc. off of can sides, rails, and doors as well as truck bumpers, truck fenders, truck wheels and truck frame rails, will need to do as needed prior to leaving job site or yard.
- Other job duties will be added as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- CDL Class B
- Current Medical Card
- Clean driving record and background.
- Able to pass a drug test.
- Willingness to work outside under all types of weather conditions.
- Must be able to work overtime, including some Saturdays.
