The Dual Rate Pit Boss is responsible for the implementation and the compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, supervises the operation of assigned table games to ensure game integrity and guest satisfaction, and is responsible for the supervision of the casino Table Games Pit on an assigned shift while in the Pit Boss Role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enforce performance standards, policies and procedures relating to Table Games and ensuring compliance with the Gaming Regulations.
- Observe game, guests and dealers, to preserve integrity of the department.
- Promotes positive guest relations providing an enjoyable gaming experience by answering questions, resolving disputes, etc.
- Assists in training and evaluating of subordinate Team Members in a fair and equitable manner.
- Is responsible for ensuring fills and credits are submitted and retrieved.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
- Supervise Team Members in the Table Games Operations on assigned shift while in the Pit Boss Role.
- Assist with the scheduling and training of Table Games Team Members.
- Responsible for performance appraisals, rewarding and disciplining Team Members.
- Address complaints and resolve problems.
- Track and report win/loss of Table Games.
- Maintains the highest quality standards in all areas of guest service, hospitality, and developing guests.
- Informs management of all noteworthy, suspicious, or unusual activity.
- Facilitates the flow of information throughout the casino.
- Responsible for tracking and reporting guests on appropriate forms.
- Ensure policy and procedures are applied consistently, equitably and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Must be able to pass all department test.
- Must have a working knowledge of Card Counting, Money Management, and Yield Management Systems.
- Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required.
- All other departmental duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Minimum 3 years exposure to card operations.
- Excellent guest service skills a must.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, oral and written skills.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license with the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
- While performing the duties of this job, the Team Members is regularly required to stand for entire shift, talk, hear, walk, sit, and to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a noisy, smoke filled, fast paced environment.
- Noise level is moderate to high on the casino floor.
- Exposed daily to flashing lights and ringing bells.
- Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

HOURS: Hours will vary and weekends
SALARY: $/hr. (Floor Person) / $/hr. (Pit Boss) / weekly pay / overtime eligible
