DSP, 7-3, No Weekends

Direct Support Professionals work with clients through various life enrichment, employment, and vocational rehabilitation to more than 400 clients! As a Direct Support Professional, you will work with clients who are in life enrichment or are in work programs. In our life enrichment program, our clients are doing fun and engaging activities that assist in the client's everyday life such as painting, pottery, sewing, outings, and so much more! In our work programs, our clients are developing job skills by being enchouraged to complete work tasks, work on positive behavior techniques and focus on their person-centered plans.

DSP Hiring Offers:

DSP Responsibilities:

• Encourage clients to engage in day activities, outings, and community inclusion.
• Be engaged throughout the day with clients in activities or community outings.
• Encourage clients to reach their personal and employment goals, including encouraging clients to work.
• Train, coach, and monitor clients to perform work-related contracts.
• Complete the necessary paperwork, documentation, and reports for clients work.
• Assist clients in personal cares such as, toileting, changing briefs, occasionally bathing, feeding, and preparing meals as needed.
• Transfer clients using appropriate body mechanics and assistive equipment.
• Assist in meeting the transportation needs of clients including, assisting in loading, and unloading of clients in a safe and reliable manner.
• Complete required documentation for assigned clients.

DSP Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.
• Experience working with clients who need assistance with personal care.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to use electronic devices including date bases and internet-based applications.

• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol test following a conditional job offer.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
