The DSCC is hiring a Constituency Director + Deputy Political Director for the 2024 election cycle to assist with the DSCC’s political and constituency programs.
The DSCC Constituency Director + Deputy Political Director will report to the Deputy Executive Director and work closely with various departments throughout the organization.

The DSCC Constituency Director + Deputy Political Director will report to the Deputy Executive Director and work closely with various departments throughout the organization.
Job responsibilities include:
- Work with Deputy Executive Director to develop DSCC’s overall strategy and programs for effective constituent engagement by providing strategic support to senior leadership
- Exercise primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of DSCC's constituency work, including management of staff
- Build, maintain, and manage relationships with coalition leads in the state and support organizing efforts in key Senate battleground states
- Support political department and organizing department around opportunities for DSCC to grow and develop its coalitions and constituency engagement
- Track the demographic landscape(s) related to electoral and issue organizing; monitor demographic and political trends; and prepare background materials and other documents as necessary
- Work to increase the effectiveness and visibility of the DSCC’s constituency engagement strategies and programs
- Contribute to the organization’s strategic political planning as a key member of the political team
- Work with Deputy Executive Director to manage and maintain key stakeholder relationships, including support for partner endorsements and candidate questionnaires
- Provide support and strategic advice to campaign political teams
Qualifications:
- Applicants should have 5-8 years of relevant work experience. Committee and/or campaign experience in a previous position strongly preferred
- Organized and detail oriented
- Strong time management, verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team and maintain constant communication with your teammates
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace and an ability to demonstrate multicultural competence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Drive suite
This position is based in DC. This position is expected to work out of the DSCC office located on Capitol Hill.
