Driver/Dock Worker

Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm

Established commercial heat treater looking for experienced Driver/Dock Worker to join our Shipping/Receiving team. Job requires customer service, driving a small truck to local customers, driving a tow motor, loading & unloading trucks, checking in jobs, and packaging of completed jobs. The amount of time and specific days/hours doing the different tasks is dependent on business needs and could vary week to week.

• Safely operating a small truck, driving to customer locations using designated route, while delivering and picking up orders.
• Unload trucks at EHT, check-in jobs with accuracy, identify containers, weigh/count parts
• Prepare own and others’ truck for daily deliveries.

• Package completed work for shipping, delivery or pick-up
• Operation of forklift/tow motor to transport materials in and out of vehicles and around shop

• Maintain organized receiving and shipping areas

Physical Demands:

• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, climb, crouch, and maneuver in/out of tow motor and truck

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to meet physical demands
• Class B CDL a plus
• 1-3 years’ experience in a shipping/receiving or loading dock environment and experience driving to make local deliveries.
• Experience in manufacturing, heat treating, or warehousing preferred
