You will be actively making logistics more transparent, faster, and safer for everyone using our services. As a Driver Operations Manager you will play a key role on the Airspace Driver Team's mandate of reducing driver cost while enabling growth and maintaining driver coverage and quality.
Responsibilities:
1. You will be directly responsible for performance against the mandate (above) for a subset of markets. To achieve success in this portion of the role, you will lead:
- Driver network expansion
- Driver relationship management
- Driver / system configurations
- Driver quality & support initiatives
- Driver assignments & rates for recurring work
- Market performance reviews
- Approvals for new batches of work
2. You will act as a project lead for strategic initiatives that span across markets.Examples of these initiatives:
- Fulfillment for a new service offering
- Unilateral driver performance measurement
- Revamping tracking and controls for a cost line item
- Strategic dispatch processes
- Action-oriented
- Creative but realistic and effective
- Collaborative and decisive
- Ownership mentality
- Proactive in identifying opportunities
