Vdc Engineer

O'Neal, Inc. is offering a new career opportunity for a Virtual Design & Construction Engineer to join our technology team. This key role will work alongside our design & construction professionals to maximize efficiency and assist in delivering fast-track EPC projects. The VDC Engineer will assist with or manage project setup/closeout, subcontractor orientation & training, model change control, trades coordination, scheduling support, and field equipment & materials coordination. Prior experience with complex industrial or commercial construction projects is required, as well as extensive knowledge of BIM 360, Procore, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD/Revit design software. Candidates must have a BS or above in Engineering, Construction Science, or Architecture/Design. This position will travel to our project sites as required. Opportunities to contribute will include:

• Managing our laser scanning capability, including equipment maintenance, licensing, and performing field scans
• Assisting with drones, 360 cameras, and related hardware/software
• Managing company iPad Pros including new user configuration, system maintenance, and software renewals
• Serving as company Procore administrator, including adding users, training field staff, and updating project-specific dashboards
• Conducting clash detection meetings and model reviews with design team
