LOCATION
This position is based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street initially, eventually moving to our new location at 770 Eastport Parkway, La Visa Nebraska. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting. We offer an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure Kiewit drivers are in compliance with laws/regulations. Maintain new and existing DOT Driver Qualification Files accurately and timely manage expiring documentation in accordance with the FMCSA regulations and requirements.
- Perform data entry into our system to consolidate driving data/records. Utilize excel checklist to ensure all files are completed. Regular follow up with employees/drivers to obtain needed data.
- Address service now tickets for inquiries or problems related to driver requirements and status.
- Assist in the DOT Drug and Alcohol program in accordance to the FMCSA regulations and Kiewit’s corporate policies
- Communicate and collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and provide outstanding support to all areas of the Kiewit organization
- Provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers; understand Kiewit’s core business and promote a sense of urgency toward business critical issues
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in DOT, FMCSA regulations preferred
- Must have High School degree or GED. College degree in business or related field preferred
- Experience experience performing data entry, and review of documents for compliance required. Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficient with MS Office applications and comfortable learning other software necessary to execute the job.
- Superior attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
- Ability to understand and follow process and controls
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy with minimal supervision in a fast paced, high volume environment; initiative and a sense of urgency to get things done
- Logical reasoning abilities that enable one to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problem-solving
