No MDS experience needed. A perfect position for a nurse interested in learning to become an MDS Coordinator.
Will work between 2 Emerald locations in Omaha.
Flexible schedule. Full Time with no routine ‘on-call’ requirements
Must have a valid RN License in Nebraska.
Duties, Responsibilities, and Essential Functions:
- Assists MDS Coordinators by gatering data and completing assessments.
- Coordinates meetings with interdisciplinary team members to review resident functional performance.
- Uses data contained in the resident's electronic medical record when completing sections of the MDS assessments (examples include: medication and treatment sheets, Activities of Daily Living, physician documentation, laboratory reports, and psychotropic medication).
- Updates resident Care Plans.
- Attends facility meetings as directed.
- Other duties as assigned.
