Job Title: Cleaner/Housekeeper
Reports to: Director of Residence Life
Location: Bellflower, CA
Overview
The Cleaner/Housekeeper is responsible for the daily upkeep of the dorm community, including trash, bathrooms, and common areas, and performs a range of duties to include but not limited to: cleaning/sanitizing, stocking and supplying designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping/mopping, vacuuming, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.). The Cleaner/Housekeeper is responsible for conducting all job duties in accordance with company policy and all safety protocols.
All of the cleaning supplies are kept on site in the maintenance and cleaning closet of the dorm building.
The building is a three story dormitory for international high school students. Students are responsible for the cleanliness of their own rooms and cleaning staff is not permitted to enter private bedrooms. There are two large shared bathrooms on the second and third floors with multiple shower stalls, toilets, urinals, and sinks, as well as one public bathroom on the first floor for guest use.
Responsibilities
- Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping,, restroom cleaning, etc.)
- Inform management of major facility concerns and purchase needs
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects upon direction of management
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $2000 per month

Summer off (June-July)
