Referral and DonorScreening Supervisor:
The Referral andDonor Screening Supervisor assists the Referral and Donor Screening Manager inthe applicable day-to-day operations of the Referral and Donor ScreeningServices Department. The Supervisorshall assist in the daily supervision, training and performance evaluation of allstaff within the Referral and Donor Services Department. This position shall coordinate thedepartment's continuing education and training program for all RDSS staffmembers. The Supervisor shall compile,analyze and report on the department's statistical data results. This position shall also coordinate andassist the RDSS staff as needed with performing their job duties. Responsibilities are to be carried out in amanner that reflects DNA's comprehensive/full-service approach to donation byparticipating and cooperating with other department supervisors. Performs other duties as requested.

Job Duties:
Supervises the day to day operations of the Referral and Donor Screening Services Department.
Coordinates continuing education, training and skill development of all RDSS staff to comply with AATB, EBAA, FDA and other regulatory agencies.
With the assistance of the Quality Control Lead, monitors the department's performance by conducting an analysis of all RDSS department activity.
Performs the responsibilities of each department position and actively participates in the on-call rotation of all Coordinators, as needed.
Works closely with the Organ Recovery department to ensure timely and appropriate communication of all HBV and Import referrals.
Interacts with Donor Program Development staff by informing them of any hospital referral issues and ensures that the information being communicated is appropriate and accurate.
Interacts with the Directors/Managers of other departments as needed.
Maintains knowledge of donation process
Qualifications:
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree and or certification, licensure/registration,surgical technician, EMT-P, LPN, RT, previous OPO or industry relatedexperience, or previous organ allocation/referral intake experience.
Minimum Experience
1 2 Years in a supervisory orleadership role
Ability to perform Donor SupportCoordinator role
Minimum Field of Expertise
Working knowledge of biologicalsciences
Working knowledge of medicalterminology
Preferred Education
Bachelor of Science degree
Preferred Experience
2 - 3 Years in a supervisory orleadership role
