Survivor Empowerment Center (founded in 1972 as The Women’s Center) is seeking a Domestic Violence Follow-Up Advocate for its office in Marion, Illinois.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing services to survivors of Domestic Violence to ensure survivors safety, including assistance in filing for Orders of Protection, case management, transportation, emotional support, and follow-up in Franklin, and Williamson counties.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in a human service field or equivalent experience. Knowledge of sexual assault/Domestic Violence issues and previous training on those issues preferred.
Requirements
- 40 Hour Domestic Violence Training (provided by the center).
