Planet Pooch LLC was first opened in 1999. We are the longest standing daycare/boarding facility for dogs on the peninsula! We stand out from other facilities due to being 100% cage free and giving the dogs access to indoor/outdoor playrooms from everyday. Our everyday goal is to give our customers (the dogs) a welcoming, exciting, safe, tail wagging experience at our facility!

Dog Daycare Attendant

Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service to dog owners and ensure a positive experience for both dogs and their owners.
- Supervise and monitor the behavior of dogs in the daycare facility to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, including interactive games and exercise.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by regularly cleaning kennels, play areas, and common areas.
- Administer medication or treatments to dogs as directed by their owners or veterinarians.
- Monitor dogs for any signs of illness or injury and report any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
- Assist with feeding and providing fresh water to the dogs as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with dog owners.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds, including those with behavioral issues or special needs.
- Knowledge of basic dog behavior and body language to identify signs of stress, aggression, or discomfort.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) when handling larger dogs or moving equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members and dog owners.
