Job Description:
We are seeking a responsible individual to join our team as a Dog Daycare Attendant. Your primary duty will be supervising dogs in their play groups- ensuring they are playing safely and cleaning up after them. This position requires the ability to handle multiple roles within the daycare including all aspects of dog care and client relations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage play groups of multiple dogs, ensuring safety of all pets.
- Feed and medicate dogs according to their specific requirements.
- Walking and bathing dogs
- Take photos of the dogs during playtime to share with owners.
- Assist with checking dogs in and out at the front desk using our booking platform.
- Interact with customers, answering questions, addressing concerns, and representing the business professionally.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by promptly cleaning up dog waste.
- Follow health and safety protocols to prevent the spread of illnesses.
Requirements:
- Genuine love and understanding of dogs; ability to handle dogs of different breeds and sizes.
- Comfortable managing playgroups and supervising multiple dogs at once.
- Ability to handle cleaning duties, including cleaning up dog waste.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with dog owners and colleagues.
- Punctuality and reliability are a must.
- Willingness to learn and follow protocols for dog handling and safety.
- Must be physically capable of handling dogs and performing cleaning tasks. This position requires you to be on your feet for your entire shift.
- Previous experience in a dog-related environment is preferred.
