Overnight Doggy Daycare Attendant

The overnight positon is a two part we have a Lead and an Assistant if there are over 15 dogs. If under 15 dogs you are responsible for all the duties.
Duties include but are not limited to the following

We have many regulars so building a bond with these dogs is an important part of the job. We build our facility on hiring  Passion for dogs,  if you just like dogs this is not a job for you. This is not a sleeping position so do not expect to sleep while working this is your job. We are Cage-Free so this means the dogs can hang out on dog beds in a area together they can walk around potty when they need to but most of all they feel safe because they have an attentive human watching over them at all times. This is a hard job as you are not just hanging out with sleeping dogs there is a lot of cleaning on both positions. Everyone will start as a Assistant and then work up to cover leads as soon as they are trained in the cleaning aspect. Depending upon your experience with dogs and feeding you can move to Lead much quicker as we give medication as requested and all this needs to be handled with detail on the attendants part. We want people that would want their own dogs to stay here and get this loving care. Boarding can be stressful for dogs many its their first time so you may have to make sure and give some extra attention some have separation anxiety so patience is a requirement. It can also be fast paced when we are really busy so you must be able to be self motivated and multi tasking is a must. Remember we pick everything up that comes out of a dog either end so you have to be aware that is a huge part. I always say treat them how you would want your own dogs treated that is our signature here. You have responsiblity and the dogs deserve the best so that is what we are looking for.
