Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Have fun with the dogs!
- Provide all dogs with kindness and respect at all times
- Ensure the safety of all of our campers by following strict operations policies
- Safely manage groups of up to 25 dogs in an open Play Yard environment (indoor and outdoor)
- Understand the difference between dogs playing and dogs being aggressive
- Clean up dog waste in Play Yards
- Ensure a clean and sanitary facility
- More cleaning...yes we do a lot of cleaning!
- Basic dog grooming, baths and nail trims
- Standing on your feet all day long and cleaning (it is a very labor-intensive environment)
- Communicating effectively with peers and leadership
- Always be dependable and on time
- Demonstrating a positive, fun attitude
Qualifications:
- Passion for the care of dogs, no fear of dogs
- Strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Be a person of integrity and commitment
- Must be dependable and punctual is an absolute requirement
- Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Able to stand/walk for an entire shift
- Previous kennel experience a plus
Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement 18+ years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Able to pass a background/criminal check
Additional Info:
- Part-time and full-time positions available
- Hiring for both morning shift (6:15am-1pm) and afternoon shift (1-7:15pm)
- MUST be able to work weekends and holidays (including spring break, Memorial weekend, July 4th week, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, & Christmas)
