Equipment Yard Attendant

Black Hawk Rental / Black Hawk Equipment is continuing to grow! We are searching for an Equipment Yard Attendantto support our expanding customer base. Our Equipment Yard Attendant interacts with a diverse customer base ranging from homeowner, construction, agriculture, commercial, industrial, and municipalities backgrounds. The individual in this position has the potential ability to advance into future roles at the company such as a Mechanic, Delivery Driver, or Rental Coordinator. A background in landscaping and/or the construction industry has enabled these positions to succeed. We have full-time and part-time positions open at both of our locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Load and unload rental equipment

· Inspect and document equipment prior to and after rental

· Perform light maintenance on equipment

· Clean and organize equipment

· Prepare new equipment for resale

· Grounds maintenance

Qualifications

The right person for this job will have a dynamic personality and enjoy interacting with customers and co-workers. This person will be outgoing and self-motivated, have a competitive side that drives performance, and have a sense of urgency and timing.

• Equipment knowledge or previous industry experiences a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Works effectively with all levels of the company - Parts, Service, Sales, Rental.
• Ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of equipment applications, operation and construction phases
• Personal appearance must be neat and clean

· Able to lift up to 50 pounds

· This position requires a valid driver's license and ability to meet requirements of the Company Driver Policy; the Company will review motor vehicle records annually for all employees for whom driving a motor vehicle is an essential job function for conducting company business
