About the Business Development Officer/Member Partner Advisor position:
Consistent with the credit union mission of providing our members the right financial services to live life, dream big and achieve financial success, the Dispute & Fraud Analyst will support the administration and operational staff of the Card Services & ATM Department in conjunction with policies and programs that support and further the credit union with the strategic goals and objectives.
- Plan, lead and generate production in areas of demand to contribute to the continued profitable growth of AmeriCU Credit Union. Primarily responsible for directing regional business development efforts by researching, prospecting, and presenting to current and potential business partners and actively calling on key contacts. Professionally represent AmeriCU’s companies and capabilities in the recruitment of new members and further development of relationships with existing members to increase accounts and grow the overall product portfolio.
Dispute & Fraud Analyst Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Research, investigate and resolve member-initiated claims for disputes/fraud transaction requests, that include coordinating funds recovery with merchants/processor, within regulated guidelines and timetables along with closing out with proper supporting documentation and communication to the member.
- Assists both internal and external members by providing accurate credit card information and answering questions regarding their credit card account, acts as liaison between Credit Union and Credit Card vendor. Resolves member complaints regarding incorrect postings, billing discrepancies, etc. Responds to Credit Bureaus disputes for credit cards on the E-Oscar web site.
- Includes working directly with member, and in many cases, the merchant to try and solve any disputes directly as well as get funds refunded to member, where applicable.
- Will communicate with members, Financial Center employees, on card fraud and disputes.
- Maintains files and documents activities investigated and related to fraud cases. (Synapsis on all accounts as well as processing thru our Tracking software)
- Escalate any fraud trends/concerns to the Supervisor, Card Services or other department staff as requested.
- Responsible for working with Member, ATM-Debit & Credit Card Services (includes Business, Health Savings Accounts and consumer account) staff and Operations on issues.
- Responsible for participating in AmeriCU’s “on call” support for ATM/ITMs.
- Provide exemplary member service by actively listening, identifying and offering solutions in a timely/professional manner, maintaining confidentiality and exceeding the members’ expectation. (MVP-1Team).
- Process various Debit, Credit & ATM duties as assigned.
- Stay updated on the appropriate Regulations (for Debit, Credit and Business cards), which could include, but are not limited to: Z, E, Card Act and Reg CC.
