As a Senior Engineering Technician, you will support the development and improvement of company robotics, sensor projects and technical assets. Under the supervision of Engineering staff, you will fabricate, test, and design.
 

As a Senior Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Working on all project phases including problem definition, requirements development, system design, detailed hardware design, fabrication, integration, testing and documentation.
  • Supporting Sr. Engineers and Researchers in projects and products by designing and fabricating fixtures, developing instrumentation, and collecting data.
  • Providing electronic, some mechanical, and some software development and/or modification.
  • Operating computer-assisted engineering and design software.
  • Operating and utilizing mechanical and electrical equipment for prototyping, fabrication and assembly.


Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have associate degree in engineering technology or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in an instrumentation environment required.
  • Have experience in practical application of engineering science and technology.
  • Have knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, schematics, drawings, and models.
  • Possess practical skills with electronic test and development equipment, include but not limited to, oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, voltmeters, and soldering.
  • Possess familiarity with design software, such as Mathworks MATLAB, OrCAD Schematic, Altium and PCB Layout and LabVIEW.
