Job Responsibilities

Enter orders into dispatch software

Communicate with independent contractors regarding all types of freight

Coordinate transportation of rvs/autos to ensure prompt delivery

Prepare dispatch paperwork including Canadian border paperwork

Communicate with independent contractors regarding any issues while under dispatch – break downs/damage/dealership issues, etc

Develop processes for efficient and organized daily operations

Communicate effectively with staff and dispatch personnel to ensure the needs of customers/independent contractors are handled in a timely manner.

Meet company’s compliance as well as DOT compliance expectations.

All duties and responsibilities may be expanded upon and are subject to change. Employees are expected to cross train on all positions.

Qualifications

Professional verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate internally as well as externally

Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary work

Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Knowledge of DOT and or FMSCA rules helpful

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards

Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the company standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
