The venue boasts over 90 acres of unique grounds and gardens. We offer three unique event spaces, all while maintaining a personal connection with each couple/client.

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and professional individuals to join the team at Saint Clements Castle & Marina -- one of Connecticut's premier wedding and event venues!

The responsibility of the dishwasher is to protect the culinary assets by thoroughly cleaning all kitchen equipment. Proper usage and storage of chemicals to maintain cleanliness is a must. The majority of the shift will be cleaning, transporting and storing kitchen equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clean, sanitize and store all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Make sure stewarding equipment is functional before and after use. Report any problems immediately.
• Keep equipment, floor, and work areas clean, free of slip, trip and fall hazards.
• Ensure proper chemicals are being used for the cleanliness of dishes and all kitchen equipment.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and product.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintaining knowledge and adhering to all Saint Clements Castle policies and procedures established by the company, including but not limited to those in the handbook.
• Remove garbage frequently.
• Able to bend, lift and move up to 25 pounds or more throughout shift.
• Hand wash specific items, including wood cutting boards, sheet pans and delicate items.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must be available to work weekends, nights and Holidays.
• Must have a high level of energy.
• Must work well with others.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.69 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
