Job Description
As the Director of Sales Partnerships and Operations, you will lead our sales department and accelerate our growth in the solar energy sector. The Director of Partnerships and Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing high-performing sales teams, and driving revenue growth. This position requires a proven track record in B2B and B2C sales, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the solar industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to guide strategy.
- Stay updated on changes in government incentives, regulations, and industry standards to adjust the strategy accordingly.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales quotas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to generate leads and create effective marketing campaigns.
- Continuously improve and streamline the sales process to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Implement sales tools, CRM systems, and best practices to support the sales team.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and adjust strategies as needed.
- Identify and explore new market opportunities and geographic regions for expansion.
- Formulate market entry strategies and assess potential risks and rewards.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our solar products, technologies, and industry developments.
- Ensure the sales team is well-informed and capable of effectively conveying product benefits to customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record of at least 5-7 years in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the solar industry.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy and solar technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team to achieve goals.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Sales analytics tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Strong commitment to sustainability and renewable energy.
