Director Solutions Management

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Director Solutions Management is responsible for the overall success of product implementations. Manages the planning and implementation of products and services for all lines of business enterprise wide.

How you will make an Impact:

  • Analyzing complex lines of business and business partner requirements.

  • Oversees business partner relationship, implementation review to ensure business partner needs are met.

  • Coordinates and prioritizes needs of multiple business partners with Information Technology, oversight of project plans, provide ongoing leadership and direction to Solutions Management staff.

  • Meets with Director of Operations, Director of Healthcare Quality Improvement and Vice President of Product Development to provide feedback on new and existing implementations, ensuring appropriate level of communications exist with the business partner so they are informed of progress as well as issues and their impact and is the first level of escalation for operational issues.

  • Responsible for measuring and monitoring partner satisfaction.

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of all current systems, products and services and understanding of future system and product development plans to allow appropriate planning for production schedule and operational processes.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

  • Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS in information systems, business, health sciences or related field with emphasis in analytical thinking and minimum of 10 years' experience in project and customer relationship management, including minimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare setting and/or working with healthcare related customers, 5 years of experience in managing staff, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Ability to travel up to 35% monthly required.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • MBA and/or professional designation related to field preferred.

  • M & A experience strongly preferred

  • Pharmacy experience & project management experience strongly preferred.
