We are currently seeking a Director of Sales, North America business units. This position is part of our North American Operations and reports directly to the SVP Sales, North America. The right candidate will be capable of working with his or her team to establish direct sales, strategic territory plans and additional market development in target accounts.
The primary objective for this position is to grow and expand accounts, empowering our clients to grow their business profitably in a complex marketplace, while developing a team Account Executives to deliver consistent and predictable quota attainment.Position can work remotely from any major metropolitan area.
Preferred location is Central or East coast USA.

Direct sales and account management activities
Lead and develop a team of AE's to meet short- and long-term objectives. Lead the team to work with strategic customers to develop new sales cycles (New Sell). Lead the team to work with existing customers to establish additional areas of opportunity for Axway solutions (Upsell/Cross-sell). Meet quarterly and annual quota commitments. Provide concise and accurate business forecasting to management. Create a pipeline of AE candidates, hire, and develop both new and existing AE's to maximize growth and predictable consistency in quota attainment.

Manage an existing team but ability to find/recruit new talent. Ability to articulate value of solution and understand customer's business. Can communicate a compelling vision and make it happen. Proven history of success in integration technology sales Established network of contacts within Fortune 1000 Strong understanding of how the industry works, key constituents, and influencers Ability to travel (up to 50-75% at times) and work effectively with large number of clients and internal colleagues. Solution/Challenger sales approach expertise Experience in participating in technical activities such as: meetings, demo's RFI/RFP, Proof of Concepts, Statements of Work, etc.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing preferred Typically has 15+ years direct integration sales experience. Experience at IBM, MuleSoft, Apigee, Tibco, Software AG/WebMethods, Sterling, Mercator, Valicert, and similar a plus.
