Job Overview:
Define and oversee the development of a Risk Management program for Commercial Auto fleet business as well as being a lead resource for the development of personal auto driving risk feedback, driver apps, gamification and more. The goal is to turn driving behavior analytics into valuable insights drivers and fleet owners that enable them to make smarter and safer decisions to reduce and prevent accidents and support business operations. This role will also support efforts with long-term OEM partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a robust 5-year Risk Management Program with clear objectives and milestones
- Monitor and communicate driving behavior analytics to fleet clients regularly
- Lead the development of Personal Auto driving risk feedback, including driving apps and gamification
- Pitch dashcam technology and analysis tools to new fleet insurance clients and assist with onboarding
- Present monthly analytics reports for fleet clients, offering insights and improvement recommendations
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for optimal fleet performance
- Stay current with industry trends impacting fleet safety and operational best practices
- Provide driver safety resources for clients and enhance the fleet-facing portal
- Facilitate new Risk Management relationships with new fleet clients and manage contracts
- Work closely with Data Science, Insurance, Technical, and Actuarial teams
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Business Management, Engineering, Logistics, or Transportation or equivalent work experience.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in a fleet operations or management
- Experience in data-driven decision making
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, AWS QuickSight) and SQL a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with federal, state, or local fleet and safety regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge and experience with fleet management and safety systems.
- Ability to take raw driving behavior data and turn it into easy to understand graphical information for fleet clients using data visualization tools.
- A passion for safe driving and educating others.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, influential, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Analytical skills turning data into useful information.
- Clear, concise, and professional communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on, start-up environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Compensation:
- For California based hires:
Estimated annual salary range from $90,000 to $130,000
